Ed Baiden
Senior Vice President, Strategy, Planning and Sustainability
Ed Baiden joined Grace as Senior Vice President, Strategy, Planning and Sustainability in December 2024.
An accomplished executive with a track record of driving sustainable growth, Ed brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience with an extensive background in general management, P&L oversight, strategic planning, global M&A and post-merger integration.
Prior to Grace, Ed spent seven years with PPG Industries where he held roles of increased responsibility in marketing, product management and business line P&L. During his time at PPG, he led the integration of the $1.2B Ennis-Flint acquisition. He was also instrumental in establishing the organization’s Traffic Solutions business, which he led as Global Vice President with accountability for 22 global production sites and 1,200 employees.
Ed held various commercial and marketing roles with GE and DuPont in the U.S., China and South Africa before joining PPG in 2017.
He earned his MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University.
