Chief Executive Officer

Ed Sparks joined Grace as Chief Executive Officer in April 2023, with a focus on aligning the company’s capabilities to the chemical industry’s continued evolution. Under his leadership, Grace is strengthening its role as a trusted partner, working side by side with customers to solve complex challenges and deliver solutions that help them achieve their goals with greater efficiency and performance.

Prior to joining Grace, Ed was President, Titanium Technology and Chemical Solutions, a division of The Chemours Company.

Over more than 30 years in the industry, Ed worked at Dow, DuPont and Chemours, advancing through roles in operations, technology, strategy, sales and commercial leadership.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Tennessee Technological University. He is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional and a Six Sigma Black Belt. He serves on the boards of the American Chemistry Council and SCI Americas, and previously served on the boards of National Association of Manufacturers, American Coatings Association, and the United Way of Southern Chester County.
