You and Grace share the cost of your dental coverage. Your contribution for dental coverage will reflect the option you choose and the family members you cover.
You have two dental plan options available with MetLife. The Core Plan with a $1,000 annual maximum and the Buy Up Plan with a $2,000 annual maximum. Your cost reflects the family members you cover.

You may elect vision care coverage, which provides affordable, quality vision care nationwide. Although vision care services and supplies are covered in- and out-of-network, your benefits are generally greater when you use network providers. Your cost reflects the family members you cover.

You may contribute up to the IRS limit to a Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA on a pre-tax basis. These FSAs let you pay for eligible health care and dependent care expenses on a tax-effective basis.

If you are covered by a Grace medical plan, and you are diagnosed with diabetes, you are eligible to participate in the diabetes management program by Livongo. Livongo combines technology and coaching to support your efforts living with diabetes. This is a voluntary program at no cost to you for supplies and coaching. If you join the program, you will receive a blood glucose monitoring system, unlimited supplies and one-on-one coaching with a Certified Diabetes Educator.

Grace pays for Critical Illness coverage for all HSA members. Group Voluntary Critical Illness coverage pays benefits for non-medical, critical illness-related expenses that your medical plan might not cover. Benefits are in the form of a lump sum payment, which is paid after a medical diagnosis is made.

Grace provides up to six weeks paid parental leave to eligible salaried employees following the birth or adoption of a child. Paid parental leave is to enable the employees to care for and bond with a newborn or a newly adopted child.

Salary Continuation (Medical Leave and Short-Term Disability)
A program fully paid for by the company is provided to protect against loss of income because of illness or injury during periods of absence of up to six months.
Long-Term Disability Income (LTD)
Long-term disability provides employees with income replacement during extended periods of disability resulting from illness or injury. LTD benefits start after six months of continuous total disability. Core LTD benefits are taxable, but optional LTD benefits aren’t subject to income taxes. If you elect optional LTD coverage, contributions will be made on an after-tax basis.

The life and AD&D insurance is 100 percent paid by Grace. Your coverage starts on your first day of active work. The plan provides 1-1/2 times your annual base pay rounded up to the nearest $1,000, up to a maximum of $1,500,000, subject to a 33 2/3% reduction at age 65.

Supplemental Life Insurance
You may elect up to five times the annual base pay, rounded to the next higher $1,000.
Life Insurance for Your Spouse
You may elect life insurance for your spouse from $10,000 to $100,000 in $10,000 increments. Your spouse’s coverage, however, may not exceed your combined basic and supplemental life insurance. If you choose life insurance of more than $30,000 for your spouse, you must provide evidence of insurability.
Life Insurance for Your Children
You may elect life insurance for $1,000, $2,000, or $4,000 for each of your eligible children. You’re the beneficiary of this coverage. Your cost is the same regardless of how many children you cover.

Voluntary Group Accident Insurance
A plan provides 24-hour-a-day coverage for covered losses resulting from an accident occurring anywhere in the world.
You may select an amount from $10,000 to $500,000 in multiples of $10,000, up to 10 times your annual base pay.

Business Travel Accident Insurance
Grace provides Business Travel Accident coverage at no cost for employees and eligible family members while traveling on company business. Employee coverage equals five times the annual base pay, subject to a minimum of $50,000 and a maximum of $1,500,000. BTA insurance coverage is administered by Zurich American Insurance Company.
Business Travel Assistance
The Business Travel Assistance plan provides a comprehensive travel assistance program offering benefits and services when you are traveling 100 miles or more from your residence. An enhancement to your business travel insurance, Zurich Travel Assist puts you in touch with a network of providers that can address and help you with a medical emergency, forgotten medical prescription, security, legal, and other information and assistance.
GeoBlue (BCBS Global) Global Traveler™ Insurance
Grace provides Business Travel Medical coverage at no cost for employees and eligible family members while traveling on company business. “Sojourn” travel is also covered for leisure travel on either side of a business trip. Coverage is for urgent and emergency healthcare situations outside of one’s home country, with a maximum benefit of $250,000 per individual per trip. Benefits are paid at 100% with no deductible.

All employees are immediately eligible to participate in a voluntary Savings and Investment 401(k) Plan administered by Fidelity. Newly hired employees who are eligible and who do not enroll within 30 days of hire will be automatically enrolled at a before-tax rate of 6%. New employees who do not wish to enroll may opt out. Participants, through payroll deductions, have the opportunity for long-term savings and investment, up to a maximum of 25% of before-tax and/or after-tax savings. A Roth 401(k) contribution option is also available. The company currently contributes $1 for every $1 of the first 6% of a participant’s savings. Company contributions credited to your account are fully vested immediately. Annual federal limits apply to before-tax and Roth savings, and other limits may apply to certain highly paid employees. A variety of investment options are available for your savings and company contributions so that you can choose the investments that you decide best meet your financial goal.

An employer-contribution retirement plan, administered by Fidelity, is offered to all non-union salaried employees hired after January 1, 2017. Grace has partnered with Hyatt Legal Plans, a MetLife Company, to provide you with voluntary MetLaw legal services. MetLaw provides you with telephone and office consultations for an unlimited number of matters with the attorney of your choice. During the consultation, the attorney will review the law, discuss your rights and responsibilities, explore your options and recommend a course of action.

Health Advocate provides service for you and your eligible family members to unlimited access to highly trained Personal Health Advocates. These Personal Health Advocates provide one-on-one support for a full range of health care and insurance-related issues. From finding doctors, making appointments, locating second opinions, and assisting with a complicated diagnosis, to reviewing health insurance coverage and resolving medical bills, your Personal Health Advocate will support you at every step. The service is completely confidential and is available 24/7 to you, your spouse, dependent children, parents, and parents-in-law. Health Advocate is a service provided to you at no cost.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, voluntary, and confidential counseling service which provides professional help to employees and their family members with personal, professional or family concerns. Grace pays the full cost of this program.
If you and your counselor determine that additional assistance is needed, you'll be referred to the most appropriate and affordable resource available. Although you're responsible for the cost of referrals, these costs are often covered under your medical plan.

All full-time salaried employees and non-union hourly employees who have been employed with Grace for at least one year are eligible to apply for education assistance. Employees will be reimbursed 100% of reimbursable expenses, up to the annual maximum of $7,500, upon completion of the course(s), provided the employee has achieved a grade of “C” or higher, “Pass” if the course(s) taken is “Pass/Fail,” or “Satisfactory” if the course(s) taken is “Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory.” Reimbursement is only for pre-approved courses related to your work, as well as all required courses in an approved degree program related to your work. Company management determines if a course or program is related to your work and whether or not the course or program otherwise qualifies for educational assistance (at its discretion).
Forms should be submitted to your human resources representative before registering for any course. The program is subject to IRS regulations and required taxes.

The W. R. Grace Foundation, Inc. will match dollar-for-dollar personal gifts made to qualified secondary schools, colleges, and universities in North America. The minimum donation is $100 per year, and the maximum is $3,000 per year.

Employees are encouraged to use vacation in the year that it is earned. However, to provide additional flexibility to employees, up to 40 hours may be rolled over to the next calendar year and must be used by the end of the first quarter of the following year.

Employees will receive five days of paid sick and safe leave at the beginning of each calendar year to care for themselves or a family member.

Employees may take up to 8 hours of paid volunteer time off each year to participate in volunteer programs for 501©(3) non-profit charitable organizations.
